Spatial design and documentation with artist Rafael Rozendaal to visualize and document his concept for a mural along a five story stairwell at the FARO art center in Tokyo.
A 125 foot Mural
We generated a number of concepts for this mural, eventually deciding on a treatment that played off the design of the stairs. We used a palette of reflective hues on white walls to create a bright environment. Working from architectural drawings accurately visualize and evaluate our creative intent, we developed a system of flexible instruction-based artwork that allowed for on-site adjustments by the muralists, and prepared all the final creative documentation for production.
