National Museum of Australia

At the National Museum of Australia, we designed and opened a new exhibition to tell stories of power, connection, life and change in Australia, showing how the Australian continent has transformed into one of the most diverse and resilient places on Earth, and how these changes can guide us in the future.

The Great Southern Lands

Our team spent several weeks traveling in Australia with the museum’s curators and historians, connecting with the land and people, and building an understanding of people & place that we strove to bring into each experience.

Across four galleries and 20k square feet, the experiences are packed with hands on interactives, immersive multimedia learning environments, key indigenous and flora/fauna perspectives, and meaningful contexts that reveal the importance of artifacts and specimens the museum has collected.
